New photos of what could be Apple's new iPhone 6 design have hit the web as a possible Summer release date nears. It is expected that Apple plans to release two versions of the iPhone 6 in August or September of this year.
Several photos of what appear to be a mockup of the iPhone 6 were leaked on the Chinese social media site Weibo by Taiwanese celebrity Jimmy Lin. Lin apparently has a history of leaking photos of pre-launch Apple devices and previously posted images of himself with an iPhone 5 shortly before its release back in September of 2012.
The new photos show a taller iPhone with a larger display that has been confirmed by current rumors that Apple plans to release a larger iPhone 6 with a 4.7-inch display. The iPhone 6 dummy is shown next to the iPhone 5 and you can plainly see that the new iPhone also appears to have much thinner bezels.
Another noticeable feature is the more rounded shape of iPhone 6's edges compared to that of the iPhone 5. In fact, this new rounded design looks very similar to the designs of Apple's iPad Air and iPad mini Retina.
