Apple has also updated the WiFi on the iPad mini MF082LL/A to include multiple-input/multiple-output (MIMO) technology. With the addition of a second WiFi antenna the iPad mini MF082LL/A now supports an increased data rate of up to 300 Mbps —that is twice the WiFi speeds of last year's iPad 4! Apple also expanded their support of LTE bands on iPad mini models with cellular capabilities.
All day battery life
Apple also increased the battery size of the second-generation iPad mini MF082LL/A, from the smaller 16.3 Watt-hour 4440 mAh size of the original mini, to a larger 23.8 Wh 6471 mAh battery.
