The biggest news this month was Apple's reveal of their new iOS 8 platform at the WWDC 2014 event. iOS 8 will bring with it a number of cool new features, such as QuickType, Continuity, and Family Sharing, and updates to Notification Center, Messages, Safari, Siri, and more. Apple's iOS 8 is currently set for release sometime this fall.

There were several significant iPhone 6 leaks on social media this month. A number of photos of iPhone 6 mockups and dummies appeared on social media sites Weibo and Twitter. An iPhone 6 video comparison also appeared on Youtube. We learned that Apple is planning to release two version of the iPhone 6 with a thinner design and taller screens. We could see a 4.7-inch iPhone 6 release in mid September, while the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 phablet could release at the same time or perhaps later. It is rumored that the iPhone 6 will be available in 32 and 64 GB storage options and Apple may even offer the larger phablet model in a 128 GB size.
